Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade

We’re excited to continue our Mystery Reader program for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade classrooms—now in its second year! This initiative was thoughtfully designed to create more opportunities for parents to actively engage in their child’s learning environment and contribute to the classroom experience.

If you’re interested in participating, please complete the Google form linked here. Once submitted, you’ll receive follow-up instructions on how to sign up as a Mystery Reader.

Science Demos!

Kirk and the PTO are excited to kick off another amazing year of hands-on science fun for our PK–3rd grade Mighty Tigers! Throughout the school year, we’ll be hosting interactive science demonstrations featuring fascinating animals and scientific concepts—and we’d love for YOU to be part of the magic.

These grade-level demos are designed to spark curiosity and deepen learning through engaging, in-class presentations. But here’s the catch: we can’t do it without your help.

If you’re interested in volunteering, here’s what you need to know:

•  Animal handling requires training—don’t worry, it’s fun and informative!

•  Trainings begin in early September and run through the fall semester.

•  All demos take place during the school day and are grade-level specific.

•  Trainings are held at the Science Resource Center (SRC): 11206 Telge Rd, Cypress, TX 77429 / Phone: 281-897-4004 / Adults only, please. No RSVP needed - just arrive 10 minutes early to sign in.
